Have your say on the Oxfordshire Plan 2050
Introducing the Oxfordshire Plan 2050
This is the first part of the Oxfordshire Plan Regulation 18 consultation. The consultation considers the issues that the Oxfordshire Plan should deal with, a vision for the plan and a series of objectives and aspirations to guide the plan to 2050.
This consultation is CLOSED. You can still view the responses online and register your interest for future consultations here.
Oxfordshire Open Thought
As part of the Oxfordshire Plan 2050, we are looking for solutions to three big challenges facing us as we plan for the future: how we will all live and work, how we will move around, and how we will tackle climate change.
In order to achieve that, we want to tap into the wealth of knowledge and expertise locally. We’re inviting you to visit the Open Thought website where you will find some more information and some starter questions for you to consider.
You may agree with some of the statements or be totally against others – you can tell us your thoughts about any or all of the topics using the simple online form. You can use text, images and videos – whatever is most comfortable for you to get your views across.
Your submission will then be used to help draw policy ideas for the Oxfordshire Plan 2050, and a summary report will be published ahead of the next formal consultation.
Oxfordshire Plan 2050 - Call for Ideas
The Oxfordshire Plan Call for Ideas is now closed. Thank you to everyone who made submissions. They are now being assessed and this help inform the plan-making process moving forward.
Oxfordshire Plan 2050 - Sustainability Appraisal Scoping Report
The Sustainability Appraisal Scoping Report has been prepared to identify the scope and level of detail to be included in the Sustainability Appraisal (SA). The SA is a legal requirement in the production of the Local Plan and promotes sustainable development by assessing the extent to which the Plan’s policy options will help to achieve relevant environmental, economic and social objectives.
