How to Apply for a Blue Badge

Documents you will need

Before you apply, make sure you have:

•  (if applying for a child) – National Insurance number or child reference number
• (If already own one) – the number,  local council and expiry date on current blue badge,

• The initial decision letter issued by the Department for Work and Pensions, applicable if you’re automatically entitled to a badge.
